Dr. K.MANOHAR MD (Gen. Med.)

Dr. K. Manohar, MD (Gen. Med.), is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive experience. Graduating with honors from Osmania Medical College in 1981, he earned an MD in General Medicine. His diverse administrative roles include Director of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences and CEO of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust. In academia, he served as Professor & Head of the Department of Medicine at MGM Hospital, Warangal, and as MCI Inspector for PG Courses since 2011. Dr. Manohar contributed significantly to healthcare by establishing new hospitals and serving as Superintendent at MGM Hospital, Warangal.

Noteworthy achievements include introducing advanced diagnostic facilities and liquid oxygen, resulting in substantial cost savings. Honored with awards such as the “Best Teacher Award” and “Fellow of Indian College of Physicians,” he is also actively involved in social initiatives, organizing blood donation camps and public awareness programs. Dr. K. Manohar is a distinguished figure, contributing substantially to both medical services and education.

    Achievements:
    • After taking charge as Superintendent (FAC), MGM Hospital, Warangal established Liquid Oxygen in Dec. 2013 and saved oxygen budget to the extent of Rs. 6-7 Lakhs per month.
    • Established advanced diagnostic facilities and made available all the diagnostic tests in the hospital, thereby saving Rs. 7 – 7.5 Lakhs per month, which was paid to outsourcing agency.
