At Apollo Medical College, we’re reimagining how physicians are trained—producing physician scientists are strong clinical thinkers, able to engage in understanding the broader issues surrounding medicine through inquiry. During their time at Apollo, the learn the skills to:
- conduct and interpret research
- work well in multi-disciplinary teams
- teach
- as well as challenge and change assumptions for how we think about, contextualize and practice medicine within larger systems.
In recognizing that medical school is but one phase of a physician’s education, the faculty has created an environment where students prepare for a future in which scientific knowledge, societal values, and human needs are ever changing.
To meet this challenge, our graduates develop skills to provide quality care for their patients, contribute to the growth of scientific knowledge, and continue learning throughout their careers. They are involved in service to the community and demonstrate a firm commitment to the humanistic, ethical, legal and cultural aspects of medicine.
We prepare creative doctors for excellence in patient care, education, medical research and policy making.
Our undergraduate program combines basic science and clinical medicine with humanism and professionalism. With this strategy, the art and science of medicine continually reinforce each other.
